CleanRobotics was created to eliminate the general public’s confusion when selecting the right bin for waste disposal. Contamination of recyclables happens on a large scale at facilities with high traffic such as airports and hospitals, resulting in high recycling costs and low yields.

Today, people are confronted with an array of waste bins that you need a Ph.D. to understand. Our co-founders Charles Yhap and Tanner Cook embarked on the development of a smart solution to the problem. As AI and algorithms became increasingly accessible, they noticed a missing link in the traditional recycling methods that are both expensive and ineffective.
